Hello! My name is Ivan, and I’m currently a senior at O’Dea High School. I grew up in San Diego and moved to Seattle eight years ago. I started photography my sophomore year when my uncle offered me a camera. As soon as I started I knew I wanted this to be my life.

I’m a self-taught photographer with a focus on sports. I’ve covered everything from football to lacrosse, and I’ve had the opportunity to shoot some incredible moments, including the 3A football state championship game and other football state championship events. I’ve also worked with my school on multiple occasions, capturing important games, events, and moments for the community.

I shoot with Canon gear, including my EOS R5 Mark II and R6 Mark II, to ensure I’m delivering highest quality photos every time. My style leans toward black and white photography, which you’ll see featured throughout my portfolio and Instagram.

I plan to continue my education in film or sports communication. More than anything, I want my photos to make people feel like they stand out — that their Instagram, memories, and moments are better than they imagined. For me, photography is about more than just taking pictures; it’s about creating images that people are proud to share and keep forever.
